I work by appointment only; your time is for you and only you. We select eyewear together and then I fit you. How do I fit you? I do this by utilizing fitting templates, a caliper, and other measuring devices. Together, we select color palettes from over 40 acetate colors and over 25 titanium colors. Depending on your choice you can have up to 4 colors on your frame. I have examples of many combinations that show just how detailed we are able to get on the colorization of your glasses. We discuss and decide what you want written on the inside of the temple (arm, side-piece), up to a maximum of 40 characters. Most people put their name and phone number or e-mail address so that there's a chance of getting them back if they're lost or forgotten.
After the design is decided, I take your picture and have that picture back with the customized glasses photo-shopped onto your face within 48 hours. This is for me to make sure everything looks as it should. If I’m not happy with the results, I will make adjustments, and then place the order. It takes anywhere from 4-7 weeks to make your eyeglass frame, depending on multiple factors such as material and quality control.
Once the frame is here I take the necessary measurements for your lenses and within a week you will have your glasses. Besides regular single vision or multifocal lenses, I also do specialty lenses. I utilize the latest technology, be it the design of the lens or the type of coating. All is chosen together to suit your exact needs. What has become popular is a specialty lens designed for computer usage, such as reading spreadsheets or other documents. People that get this lens love it! I could go on and on about lenses and frames as I love what I do and derive much satisfaction from my business.
